When it comes to seismic vibrators, you will likely need to replace parts of the machine. Purchasing new equipment can be costly and time-consuming, which is why we recommend stocking up on spare parts before they’re needed.
Here are a few different types of Vibrator Spare Parts that you might need:
- Rocker –
The rocker connects the rod and shaft with a pivot. It’s a shaft with a crank attached to the end that allows you to turn it, which prevents the rod from bending during operation. It is made of heavy-duty steel and has a set screw that helps prevent parts from coming apart.
- Rod Bushing –
This bushing attaches the rod to the gearbox gear shaft and prevents bending of the rod. They are made of wood-filled polypropylene or steel and are greased with anti-vibration grease before installing on the machine.
- Ring Seals –
You can purchase single ring seal assemblies or sets of three seals in different sizes for different size machines, depending on what you need for your business. Ring seals are made of rubber with a metal seal ring attached to the rod, which keeps oil in the gearbox. They come in either metal-metal or metal-rubber material.
- Cylinder –
This is where your rod and piston are located. It’s made of aluminum for strength and lightweight and is anodized for durability. The cylinder rod is attached to the cylinder bushing that fits into the rod cam, which helps make sure there’s no binding during operation.
- Rod Cam –
These camshaft assemblies are steel, steel alloy, or brass for different needs. They are designed to maintain a uniform rotation of the rod in the cam and prevent binding. Also, they can make use of seismic cable for the particular process.
- Rod Guard –
Depending on your needs, these guarding assemblies are made of steel or aluminum alloy. Again, they are used to keep the rod from binding during operation and prevent oil from leaking out of the gearbox.
- Gear Box –
- The gearbox is where all of your vibrating parts come together, and it also houses various other parts for your machine, like an oil pump or hydraulic fluid lines
- The gears fit one with another so that you don’t have any friction between them because that would cause noise and wear out the machine faster
- It also allows you to change speeds more effectively. The gearbox houses the oil pump that squirts oil onto all of your gearbox and related parts
- Oil Pump –
An oil pump is a common gearbox part, but it can also be purchased separately if you need one for a different machine. It has a clear plastic cover to let you see the gears moving inside, good for diagnosis purposes. The gears fit one with another so that there is no friction between them because that would cause noise and wear out your machine faster. They are made of high-quality cast iron materials with excellent wearing properties.
